Prayas Foundation Trust support for Education for the underprivileged in India and raising the quality of education in the country

Prayas Foundation Trust’s belief is that every child can and must attain an excellent education. Prayas Foundation Trust exists to prove that no child’s demographics should determine his or her destiny. To us, the end of educational inequality is the freedom for all children to have the opportunity to reach their potential.

A Message from Our Chairman

Today, we visited Samata Vidyalaya in Turbhe Store, Navi Mumbai, to spend time with the children who study here. This school was first proposed back in 2016 by the Prayas Foundation Trust — Yadav ji, who leads the initiative on the ground, felt strongly that the children of this slum community deserved a proper school of their own. It has been a privilege to support that vision.

We started our company in 1994. I have stepped back from day-to-day involvement, and my son Smitesh, who is Managing Director, now looks after the operations of the business. But giving back to the community around us has always mattered to us as a family, and visits like this one are a reminder of why.
